our mission

We aspire to offer fun and exciting dive courses, whilst teaching everyone to dive safely. We have a strong focus on diving ability including buoyancy control, and believe this makes diving easier, safer and much more enjoyable! Our team of Instructors and Divemasters are all regularly diving in the UK and abroad, with thousands of logged dives. This wealth of experience built up over years of diving means they’re the perfect team to teach you and have a passion for passing on their knowledge and love of the sport through every course they teach.

We are a full time diver education centre, registered as a PADI Recreational Dive Facility and a TDI Dive Centre. We teach all PADI training courses from introductory Discover Scuba Dives and the PADI Open Water Diver course, all the way to professional courses including PADI Divemaster.  Also on offer are PADI TecRec and Technical Diving International (TDI) technical diving courses.

Hello and welcome

I’m Greg, the founder and professional Scuba Diving Instructor at Hidden Depths Scuba School. The school was established in 2012, and along with my fantastic team of staff, we offer high-quality training courses to everyone from total beginner through to your first steps as a dive professional. As well as a busy training centre we also run an active dive club, allowing students and fellow divers to continue diving and explore the amazing dive sites we have in the UK and abroad! I look forward to hearing from you, and sharing a dive together soon!”

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.

Technical Diving

Technical diving offers new and exciting challenges to experienced divers. Technical diving can simply be described as any diving beyond recreational limits, but it offers much more than this to the divers who undertake this level of training. If you are interested in progressing into a technical dive course please get in touch to discuss your options.

Marine Conservation Society Beach Clean

Marine Conservation Society Beach Clean

During the survey the team of volunteers collected 7,134 items of debris, ranging from big items like a broken plastic bat, to smaller items like plastic sticks from discarded cotton buds. The vast majority of rubbish collected was plastic, and so much of it could easily be stopped before it arrives on the beach. We found many plastic bottles, bottle lids, straws and other single use plastic that had found it’s way into the ocean and washed up on our beach.
