My trip planning for our next big dive club holiday began by looking at what made our previous trip to Madagascar so special - the resorts, the experiences, the quality and the people! I knew what we offered next would have to compete with this, which took time, but I'm pleased to now introduce the trip I've arranged for us next - Atlantis Resorts, Philippines!

Qualification - Dives suitable for all qualified divers, Advanced Open Water is recommended
Non-Diver - No problem! There is so much to do, including superb snorkelling, excursions and relaxing around the luxury resorts!
Price - Divers - £3,950pp
Non-Divers - £3,000pp
Deposit - £200pp to secure your space.
Balance - 50% of the balance due 6 months before travel, and remaining balance due 3 months before travel. Payment schedules can be arranged to pay monthly if preferred.

Experience the incredible biodiversity of Puerto Galera, a designated UNESCO ‘Man and Biosphere Reserve’ since 1973, home to some of the most diverse coral reef diving in the Coral Triangle. Atlantis, Dumaguete, is a part of the municipality of Dauin (pronounced Da-win), the epicentre of Dumaguete’s dive scene. With its black volcanic sand, Dauin is known as the Frogfish capital of the Philippines, and a unique destination for critter diving. Atlantis Dumaguete offers divers a great opportunity to see unique macro marine life while critter diving on the coastal sites, the healthy reefs around Apo Island with over 400 documented species of corals (that's 65% of the world's corals!) It is the frogfish capital of the Philippines, with 7 species, along with the blue ring, mimic and coconut octopus, cuttlefish, stargazers, jawfish, various eels, pipefish and more!
The beachfront dedicated dive resort is built around a lush tropical garden and a waterfront restaurant. Atlantis Dumaguete is located minutes away from over 20 local dive spots, most of which are marine protected areas, and offers day trips to the nearby Apo Island, Siquijor and snorkelling with the Whale Sharks in Oslob.

For non-divers - There is plenty to do and explore at both resorts. You can enjoy as much snorkelling as you like, you're welcome on any boat trip where the dive site is suitable for snorkelling. You could always simply relax around the pool, or visit the spa to get a massage. There are also optional trips to visit waterfalls or a local market.
It’s clear that Atlantis resorts are of the highest quality, you simply need to read the reviews online to see this. The chefs prepare superb food for all dietary requirements. The onsite restaurant offers an array of breakfast choices, all cooked to order, and lunch and dinner are three-course chef-prepared meals with a menu that changes daily. The all-inclusive offer includes snacks between dives and coffee and tea throughout the day (alcoholic drinks are payable in resort).
