When was your scuba gear last serviced? Manufacturer's guidelines recommend that regulators & BCDs are serviced every 12-24 months, depending on make and model. If equipment isn't maintained properly then problems can arise.
- Salt water can cause corrosion.
- A build up of sand, gravel or salt crystals can result in free flowing regulators or faulty dump valves.
- O-rings and other seals stretch or become brittle over time.
- Moving parts wear after repeated use.
- Batteries need replacing.
We offer a range of in-house servicing by our experienced, qualified service technicnans. We can also arrange for equipment to be sent away for work, should we not be able to compleye the job in the store. The timescale for servicing will depend on the item, make and model, but we aim to complete all servicing from 7 to 14 days of receiving your items. We offer an express service, for an additional charge, where available.
