For 2019 we’re heading back to a recent favourite destination for the dive club – the Isle of Man! Offering a fantastic mix of wreck, drift and scenic dives with a good chance of spotting seals, octopus, nudibranchs and a possibility of a basking shark passing by too! The diving is from a hard boat with an easy diver lift, and the dive centre is CCR friendly if you wish to travel with your rebreather.
The trip price includes eight hard boat dives around the Isle of Man and four nights self-catering accommodation in their 4* house. Gas fills and your ferry crossing will be on top – a car with two passengers works out around £120 per person, but comes down to just £80 per person when four people travel in one car. I’m planning on taking the van with all the dive kit to create extra space in the cars and keep the cost lower for everyone.
The ferry crossing is from Liverpool to the Isle of Man, departing Liverpool at 11:15 am on Saturday 10th August. Our return ferry will leave the Isle of Man on Wednesday 14th August at 15:30. In between, we will get four days of excellent diving, based from a really nice self-catering house, so it’s a really great trip to be a part of!
