Equipment Specialist

PADI Equipment Specialist Course

Don’t miss a dive due to a dive kit issue. Whether it's a blown o-ring, regulator problem, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, you can learn how to manage basic scuba repairs and perfect proper kit maintenance.

As a PADI Equipment Specialist, you are prepared for the basic scuba equipment maintenance, care and adjustments you'll encounter every day. In addition, you'll learn interesting background information about how your gear works, how it's repaired and other information that helps you with your equipment choices.

The Fun Part

The more you know about how your dive gear works, the more

  • Comfortable you are with it
  • Performance you get from it
  • You can care for it

What You Learn

You’ll learn about routine care and maintenance procedures as well as scuba equipment storage recommendations. Your instructor will show you how to overcome some common equipment problems and offer equipment configuration suggestions.

Using PADI’s Equipment Specialist Touch programme you will learn more about the inner workings of your life support equipment. When combined with the practical lessons in our classroom, you will leave the course much better prepared to deal with any minor equipment problems, and more confident in helping another diver who might need some help

What Scuba Gear Will You Use?

We will provide all the equipment needed for the course, from masks & fins through to regulators and cylinder valves. You are also welcome to bring along items of your personal dive kit, so we can show you any specific techniques relevant to your own kit.
