Dive Newquay Weekend

Qualification – Advanced Open Water & Deep Spec
Number of Divers – 11

Dive Newquay is a new location for the dive club in 2020! With excellent wreck dives planned such as the Syracusa (33m max) and the Lake Edon (37m max), this trip is perfect for those divers with Deep and Nitrox specialities to make the most of the dives. The German steamship Sycacusa is an intact wreck, and a beautiful dive frequented by lobsters, crawfish and many other sea creatures. The Lake Edon is flatter, but has three big boilers standing 7m high, and has plenty to explore including the ship’s propellor and anchors.

With two dives each day, there will be a shallower second dive allowing a chance to explore the lovely reef dives of the North Cornwall coastline. Accommodation is available locally, for Friday & Saturday, and with plenty of places to eat out each night, this is set to be a great dive destination.
