Our trip to the Isles of Scilly was one of the highlights of the Hidden Depths Dive Club 2014 and 2016 dive calendars. The destination is so popular that the boat fills up more than a year in advance, so we have secured a prime week to return in 2018. Those who missed out on the trip last time around can come and experience this amazing UK diving.
The dive conditions you can expect on this trip are 15m+ visibility, with reefs and pinnacles covered in kelp and, deeper down, colourful anemones. There are many wrecks that now rest against the reefs on the various islands, with a typical dive descending down a rock wall, meeting wreckage and following this down to a depth you are comfortable. There are some big wrecks, some historical wrecks and plenty of life all over them all.
The trip price includes six days of diving and seven nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. We have 4 twin rooms booked in the Bylet B&B, and a further two apartments above in the guest house which will sleep 2 people each. In addition you will need to book your ferry to and from the Isles of Scilly. A return trip is around £100 per person. We will be booking a diving container to take across all of the cylinders, weights and other bits of dive kit which works out at around £15 per person.
